Artists’ Studio Tour Weekend in Santa Ynez Valley

Tour 30 Artists’ Studios on 11/19-20/11

The Wildling Art Museum invites the public to spend the weekend of November 18-20, 2011, in the heart of the Santa Barbara County’s wine country, touring the unique and private studios of 30 area artists. The 7th annual Santa Ynez Valley Artists’ Studio Tour begins on Friday with a kick-off reception at the Wildling Art Museum in Los Olivos from 5:00-7:00 p.m. to get acquainted with all the artists, see examples of their work in the Barbara Goodall Gallery, enjoy local wines plus beer tasting from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company and pick up the official event packet (pass, map, artists’ postcards).

Artists Participating in the 2011 Santa Ynez Valley Studio Tour reflect all genres and media—from watercolors to oils to acrylics to mixed media and sculpture to metals and jewels:

In addition to seeing their studio spaces, artists will have work for sale, with 20% of the proceeds going to support the Wildling Art Museum. More details here.

Tickets are on sale now at www.wildlingmuseum.org; by phone at 805-686-8315 or at the front desk of the Museum at 2928 San Marcos Avenue in downtown Los Olivos.  Early bird tickets available through November 13, 2011, are $25/person or $40/couple. From November 14-20, 2011, tickets are $30/person or $50/couple. Wildling Art Museum members receive a 10% discount. Click for membership information.
